About us

The Precise brand is owned by Trisco Foods, an Australian family owned business managed by the Tristram family who have been manufacturing food and beverage products in Queensland since 1875.

Trisco Foods now manufactures an extensive range of products for some of the largest food organisations both domestically and internationally. Products include milkshake flavourings, sundae toppings, jams, coffee syrups, dessert sauces, bakery fillings and marinades.

At Trisco Foods, innovation is one of our core values. We saw the opportunity to develop a product that meets the needs of aged care residents suffering from dysphagia by giving precise control over the consistency of prepared thickened drinks, whilst being quick, easy, stress-free and economical. This led to the development of ‘Precise Thick-N INSTANT’, a liquid thickener concentrate to help those with dysphagia consume their favourite drinks.

In 2017, Trisco Foods acquired a dietary supplement product ‘Enprocal’ in the Precise product range, cementing its move into the fast-growing aged care market. Enprocal provides extra nutrition to assist general health and wellbeing, with a focus on fighting frailty.

Commitment to Training and Education

At Precise, we believe that training and education is paramount to ensuring residents are provided with accurate prescribed thicknesses to meet Australian Standards. We have also identified that in order to provide quality training, no limitations are placed on the amount or duration of the training.

In many cases, we deliver multiple training sessions in a single day at any one site. The 9 fully trained Precise representatives have delivered over 500 training sessions in the past 12 months, and educated an estimated 6000 aged care staff during that time.

A free online training module (with support) is also available to supplement the face to face training. Records reflect that an additional 6000 people have successfully completed their online training.

We can also provide tailored Education and Visit Plans for individual sites.
